Bob Snare

R. Snare was born in Groton, Connecticut, in the shadow of the U.S. Naval submarine base. He has been setting pen to paper since an early age and was always "the guy who drew" in his class. Imagine his surprise when attending art school for the first time and discovering that he was no longer the only one and had to compete for attention.

However, he persevered, eventually receiving a degree in commercial art (that would be "computer art" for all you under 25's out there). After toiling away as an advertising designer, layout person, photographer, writer, and even editor for over ten years, he was hired to create animated postcards for Arcamax, a web start-up company, for whom he illustrated over 500 cards.

He currently edits and writes over fourteen daily ezines for the same company at www.arcamax.com. In his copious free time, he does illustration work and covers for zines such as The Liberated Quark, Mythic Delerium, and Nth Degree. He lives in lovely home in Williamsburg, Virginia where he and his wife share space with three overly-indulged felines.
